Featured Inspiration - Kelli Anderson

We hope you will find this space a place to enjoy a moment of introspection while enjoying a cup of Philosophical Grounds coffee. We will feature various works from artists and philosophers among us.

Visit often and reflect deeply.

“Then what about the person who, believes in beauty itself and can see both it and the particular things which share in it, and does not confuse particular things and that in which they share? Do you think they are awake or dreaming? They are very much awake.” (Plato, The Republic)

Photos by Kelli Anderson.
Kelli is from Oley, PA. She started her love of photography by capturing the beauty of Fall. With landscapes she could tell a story through the changing colors of the leaves. She realized her passion of story telling through photography and has since captured historical sites and abandoned places. The history of an object or location can be shared and explored through photography. Her work has been featured on numerous historical websites, local business offices, and various social media platforms.

You're beautiful because you know your own darkness and still, that alone doesn't stop you from finding your own light.

The process of transformation consists mostly of decay.

I've been through many storms but I'm still standing...
I don't need someone to light up my world. I want someone to come sit with me in the dark.
All things that have form eventually decay.
